Support needed by August 21st â $2,000 in one time gifts and $2,500 in monthly support

We have the amazing opportunity to move to London with Antioch, to join a team of church-planters. We will be providing needs for refugees, facilitating Alpha groups, and leading daily discipleship.
We will both be working, as will most of our team. Matthew will also be pursuing a Masters in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism at University of the Arts London.
Our commitment is a minimum of 3 years, but we are committed to see God move in the city, regardless if that takes a lifetime.
We have two main needs â prayer support and fundraising.
First Need â Prayer
We are going to need so much prayer as we launch in a very short time span. God has shown us the way the entire time, and we are only at this point because of the Lordâs blessing and prayers and support of our community. More than anything else, we would be so blessed by a commitment to pray for us. From here on out, we will be sending out bi-monthly prayer updates.
If youâd like to join our prayer team, please sign up here.
Second Need â Fundraising
If youâd like to support us in a one time or monthly capacity, please follow this link, and select âYarnellâ from the âStaff Supportâ dropdown menu. If youâd like to send checks, make them payable to âAntioch Ministries International Fort Worthâ and put âYarnellâ in the memo line. Mail to: AMI Fort Worth, 5023 Trail Lake Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76133.
To be financially transparent, we have worked with the Church Planting team in London and the board of Church Planters for Antioch Fort Worth to create a one time budget and a monthly budget for our first two years over there. All funding we raise for one time support will go towards moving costs, deposit for rent, transportation costs and other travel expenses. Our monthly support will go towards a part time church planting salary for both Matthew and I that comes out to about 10 hours a week. This includes weekly discipleship meetings and providing needs for the refugee community that the London team will be working with. No fundraising will go to Matthewâs schooling.
If youâd like to meet with us in person or virtually to chat more about what we are doing, please shoot us an email or call us! We would love to share our hearts with you for church planting, the arts and London!

Our Story
Shortly after we got married in 2019, we decided to do a yearlong discipleship school at our church, Antioch Fort Worth. The Lord drew some desires out of us. He healed our hearts in so many different ways, and knit our life visions together, which included moving overseas to share the gospel and love people different than ourselves.
Through a very God ordained series of events, it became clear that London was where the Lord was calling us! Both of us were dreaming and praying separately, but when we came together, we realized that the Lord was syncing up our desires.
We got involved in Antioch when Victoria went on a 3 month mission trip to North Africa in 2017. The community and approach to discipleship within Antioch has been so life-giving to us. For church planting, they have a particlar value of sending out sons and daughters to all nations. Instead of sending out anyone, they want each individual they send out to be well trained, to be immersed in community, to be leading at church in some capacity and for each person to be spiritually and emotionally healthy! Their approach to church planting is discipleship based, which is a huge value for both of us.
In fall of 2019, we officially got accepted into the London Antioch church planting team and started the journey of Antiochâs church planting school, which ran until spring of 2020. During our time in the church planting school in 2019â2020, we had weekly core values training, went through the church planting curriculum and flew out to California for a week to attend the church planting intensive in San Diego, where church planters from Antioch churches across the US came to get trained before heading out. We learned so much valuable information and life forming habits during this time and had the intention of waiting on the Lord after finishing church planting school to ask Him for His perfect timing.
In March 2020, we had an unexpected turn of events with COVID coming to the US, the UK border being shut, and the lockdown started to commence. We continued to press in, praying and seeking the Lord for the right timing and the right route to get over to the UK, for the right Visa to apply to and for His grace to cover it. In January of 2021, Matthew and I went on a personal retreat for a day where we were able to ask the Lord some specific questions we had been processing about London. Much to our surprise, the Lord spoke to both of us that we were supposed to look into a school to work visa, and that this was the route He was taking us on to get over to London. Acquiring a visa is no small feat and something that we had been praying about for quite some time. During this personal retreat day God spoke vision into our hearts:
GOD IS CALLING US TO LONDON TO WATCH AND FACILITATE HEAVEN MEETING EARTH THROUGH DISCIPLESHIP, LOVE AND BIBLICAL CREATIVITY.
This has been our prayer since January. As soon as the Lord spoke that schooling would be the route for us to get to London to church plant, it became clear that Matthew should pursue a MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism at University of Arts at London. Matthew applied to that one school, believing in faith that the Lord would open the door. After a couple of months to hear back, paperwork, strategizing, and dreaming, God did it and Matthew was accepted!
So after years of prayer, training, and work, we are officially heading to London in September of 2021! We are committing to 3 years of building up the church in the city.
The team in London is made up of incredible people, from whom we are excited to learn. Some of the main goals of the team is to work with the local refugee community and our spheres of work to have intentional discipleship that creates long term spiritual transformation!
We have two main needs â prayer support and fundraising. If youâre interested in partnering with us in either way, weâd love for you to prayerfully consider doing so.
Weâd love to talk with you about anything youâd like to hear more about. Please email us, or reach out in whatever way youâd like to.
